Dashboard filters

A global filter can be applied on a set of graphs and reports from a dashboard screen provided they all share the same element type and stereotype configuration.

In the following dashboard, ArchiMate applications are listed within a pie graph for the domains, a bar graph for the max users' categories, and a report listing all applications.

The results are dynamically updated by applying a filter e.g. applications with a tagged value Max Users of <50 or <100.

Once the dashboard filter is applied, the graphs and reports are automatically updated i.e. only applications with Max Users values of <50 and <100 are selected within the results.

This feature greatly facilitates working with graphs and reports.

Excel Report Download

A report can be opened from a dashboard with common Excel-like features such as column values filters.

If configured in the report, the properties of an element, e.g. an application, can be opened:

With Prolaborate 5.5, the generated Excel file includes the complete set of results:

Single Page Publication

Reusable resources such as dashboard widgets (e.g. graphs) and report configurations can be defined within a repository.

Prolaborate 5.5 has introduced a new type of common resource, the Pages. Once the necessary permissions are granted, pages can be created and managed within the repository resources manager:

The page content is simply defined through a selection of diagrams and elements from the browser. The order of displayed items can be changed and a preview of the result is available.

The new "page" can be published and shared by creating a link. Once opened, it provides direct access to the selected details.

Below is an example of an application with its name, description, tagged values, traceability information, and links to the visible views:

Application Language

For companies or government bodies requiring the models to be defined in the local language e.g. French, German, Spanish, Prolaborate user interface can be an issue if it's only in English.

Any user can now change Prolaborate Language:

Note: in the properties, the displayed fields such as Name, Description are still in English because this part can be changed via the Form Designer configuration (see modeling language).
